Collaboration Partners
PALLAS is a research and development project located at IJClab on the campus of the université Paris-Saclay. The PALLAS group is a collaboration including IJClab, LLR, LP2IB.
Funding
The LASERIX laser facility is supported by the university since 2009.
PIA3-PACIFICS – CEA/CNRS – axe 3 – experimental laser-plasma accelerator test facility
IN2P3 master project PALLAS
In addition, the project benefits from various CPER investments for high-intensity laser equipment and renovation of the radiation safety experimental area for the project.
European project EUPRAXIA
EuPRAXIA is the first European project to develop a dedicated particle accelerator research infrastructure based on novel plasma acceleration concepts and laser technology. EuPRAXIA is one of the projects on the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) Roadmap of 2021.
The PALLAS project is involved in the EUPRAXIA-PP and the preparatory phase of the technical design report for the laser-driven plasma accelerator site.
